Venango County Naturalization Documents,

        1800 - 1900

 

Several years ago, the Registrar's Office at Venango County Courthouse sent their original naturalization documents, for those immigrants who became citizens in Venango County between the years 1800 - 1900, to be microfilmed.  When that job was completed, the documents came to Venango County Historical Society for preservation in our climate-controlled Archival Resource Center.  Those documents are available to researchers.

About the VCHS

The Venango County Historical Society is located in the Egbert-Mullins-Koos House in Franklin, Pennsylvania. The home was built in 1859 and serves as both the Society's home and exhibit space, a research library, and archive.

 

We serve the Venango County community by preserving the history important to all of us.

Flag Raising at the Old Garrison

 

Join us as we welcome the DAR and the VFW Honor Guard and raise the US flag for Patriot's Day - Sept. 11, 2025 at 11 AM at the last location of Franklin's four frontier forts.

River Ridge Mansion Tours

 

Sept. 11 at 3 & 6 PM

Guided tour and historical program on the Joseph Sibley mansion.  Talk, guided-tour, and light refreshments.
